WELCOME TO BDPC

Bangladesh Development Partnership Centre (BDPC) is a national non-government, non-profit and non-political human rights organization. Established in 1991 and registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh (Registration. no. 946/95), BDPC is based in Dhaka.

Mainstay projects of BDPC focus on human rights, legal support, mediation/ADR, human security, violence prevention and peace building, livelihood security, humanitarian support, human trafficking prevention, child sexual abuse prevention, female empowerment, fair international trade, debt exemption, consumer rights, good governance, democratic participation and equal rights of all citizens.

In addition to projects that are funded by external donors, there are projects and programs that are supported by locally generated resources, subscriptions and contributions.

BDPC provides training, evaluation, survey, research, and technical assistance to national and international development agencies.

A team of committed professional workers runs BDPC. Activities of this team are overseen by a seven member Executive Committee elected by the General Body. BDPC has membership with a number of reputed national and international networks.
